ABOUT US
HISTORY
Our fellowship began with one church in 1970 in Prescott, Arizona. In 1973 a church was planted in Tucson, Arizona. Out of these and many other of our congregations, hundreds of churches have been planted, including our mother church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Today we are a fellowship of over 2,000 churches in 110 nations throughout the world. As a pioneer work, our church in Saginaw, Michigan has a young history with a rich tradition.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
In the Trinity of the eternal Godhead: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. (John 14:26) In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1:1) In the person and deity of the Holy Spirit. (John 16:8) In the inspired and inerrant Word of God, The Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16) In salvation by grace through faith and not of works. (Ephesians 2:8) In the propitiation for sin only by the Blood of Jesus Christ. (1 John 2:2) In the substitutionary atonement for all mankind. (2 Corinthians 5:15) In the total sinfulness of mankind. (Romans 3:23) In the reality and person of the devil. (1 Peter 5:8) In the necessity of the being Born Again. (John 3:5-8) In water baptism by immersion. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12) In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. (Acts 2:4) In Divine Healing. (1 Peter 2:24) In the imminent return of Jesus Christ. WHAT TO EXPECT
The Door Church is a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, nondenominational church with a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for seeing lives changed. Our services begin with praise and worship to invite the presence of God, followed by an opening prayer, offering, and then a sermon that can be applied to the various aspects of life so that we may continue to serve God even after the church service ends. We close each service with an altar call, to give all a chance to seal in their hearts the decision to follow Jesus.
